How it works

Install and add your API key
After installing, click the extension icon in your toolbar and paste your PeopleDB API key. You can find it in your dashboard. The key is stored locally in your browser.

Open any LinkedIn profile
Navigate to a LinkedIn profile page. A small PeopleDB icon will appear on the page.

Click to look up contact info
Click the icon to open a panel on the page. Hit "Look up contact info" to fetch emails and phone numbers. Results are cached locally — revisiting a profile won't cost another credit.

Common questions
Is the extension free?
The extension itself is free. Lookups draw on your account credits: 10 free on signup, no card required, and a lookup only costs a credit when it returns at least one email address.
Where is my API key stored?
Locally, in your browser's extension storage. It's only sent to peopledb.co when you run a lookup, never to any other site.
Does the profile owner see anything?
No. The extension reads the profile URL you're viewing and queries the PeopleDB API with it. Results come from PeopleDB's index, so nothing registers on LinkedIn's side: no profile view, no notification.
