Zapier Integration

Contact enrichment,
on autopilot.

Connect PeopleDB to the tools you already use. When a new lead comes in — from a form, a CRM, a spreadsheet — automatically look up their email and phone number. No code required.

Connect on Zapier Requires a PeopleDB account.

How it works

1
Connect PeopleDB to Zapier
Authenticate with your PeopleDB API key. You can find it in your dashboard. One-time setup — Zapier stores the connection.
2
Pick a trigger
Start a Zap from any app — a new row in Google Sheets, a new contact in HubSpot, a form submission, a Slack message. Anything that contains a LinkedIn URL or GitHub username.
3
Add a PeopleDB lookup action
Map the LinkedIn profile identifier from your trigger to the PeopleDB action. The step returns emails, phone numbers, and social profiles — ready to use in the next step of your Zap.

What the action returns

Email addresses All known addresses, classified personal or work
Phone numbers When available
LinkedIn profile Name, headline, location, and profile URL
GitHub profile Login and profile URL, when matched
Credit usage 1 credit per lookup

Common workflows

Enrich inbound leads
Trigger on a form submission or CRM entry — automatically look up contact info and write it back.
Build outreach lists
Pull LinkedIn URLs from a spreadsheet, enrich each row with emails, export to your email tool.
Notify on new contacts
Fetch contact details when a LinkedIn URL lands in Slack or email, surface them instantly.

Common questions

Which apps can trigger a lookup?

Anything in Zapier's catalog that supplies a LinkedIn URL or GitHub username: form submissions, CRM entries, spreadsheet rows, Slack messages. If the trigger has the identifier, the lookup step can use it.

What happens when no contact is found?

You aren't charged. A lookup only consumes a credit when it returns at least one email address, so a Zap that processes noisy input doesn't burn credits on misses.

Do credits expire?

No. Credits are prepaid and stay on your account until used, which suits Zaps whose volume varies month to month. Full tiers on the pricing page.

Zapier, the extension, or the raw API?

Zapier fits event-driven, no-code enrichment. Browsing profiles by hand? The Chrome extension. Building a pipeline in code? The API directly. The enrichment guide compares the approaches.
